About
A grotto for housing nerds
The Radiant Hollow is a home for the homes you build. It exists for the corner of Elder Scrolls Online that cares less about parses and more about whether the rug sits right, the people who spend an evening moving one lantern four inches and call it time well spent.
What you'll find here
Everything on the site is built around the same loop: make something, show it to people who'll appreciate it, and pick up a trick or two on the way back.
- A housing gallery for finished builds and cobbled creations, tagged by house and style so it's browsable rather than an endless scroll.
- A furnishing database of roughly nine thousand items, searchable by profession, quality, and source, with recipe materials where we've been able to gather them. Furnishing data is sourced from UESP.
- Contests and judging, run properly: real criteria, named judges, member voting, and a tool that does the tallying so nobody has to keep a spreadsheet.
- Guides written by members: building tips, pet pathing, antiquities, farming routes.
- An open house board for posting when your doors are open, with the in-game chat link generated for you.
- A guild finder for browsing the guilds and communities already here, seeing who's recruiting, and asking their staff for an invite.
Why there's no sign-up button
You can't make an account here on your own, and that's deliberate. Every member arrives either through a join code from a guild or community already in the Hollow, or through a leader application that a person reads by hand.
The reason is simple: a housing community only works when people are willing to open their doors. Sharing a gamertag and a visiting window with strangers on the open internet is a different proposition to sharing it with a guild that vouched for you. Slower growth is the price, and it's worth paying.
The same thinking shapes the rest. Showcases are private unless you explicitly tick โshow publicly.โ Signed-out visitors browsing the gallery never see who made anything; the query doesn't even fetch it.
Guilds keep running themselves
The Hollow is a set of tools, not a replacement for your guild. Leaders keep their own rosters, their own join codes, and their own contests, and nothing here touches your in-game guild. The site has no way to invite or remove anyone from ESO itself. Members can belong to several guilds and communities at once and see all of them from one account.
Still being built
The Hollow is young and openly a work in progress. Some things listed in the original plan aren't here yet, some things here weren't in the plan at all, and a few corners are still visibly under construction. If something looks broken it may simply be unfinished, and either way, we'd like to know.
