How to join

Two ways in, on purpose

There's no open registration. You either arrive with a join code from a guild or community that's already here, or you bring a guild of your own and apply as its leader. Nothing else, and there's no waiting list to sit on.

I have a join code

Your guild master, community leader, or an officer can give you a code. Take it to the registration page, pick a display name and password, and you're in.

I lead a guild or community

Bring an ESO guild, or a housing community that lives on Discord or Band, into the Hollow. Applications are read by a person, not approved automatically.

What a join code actually is

Each guild has two codes: a member code and an officer code. They decide which role you land in, nothing more. An officer code doesn't make you an officer of anything you didn't already help run.

Codes can be regenerated by your leaders at any time, which retires the old one immediately. If a code stops working, it was almost certainly rotated; ask your guild for the current one rather than assuming the site is broken.

Already have an account and joining a second guild? You don't need a new one. Redeem the additional code from your dashboard and both memberships sit side by side under the same login.

Applying as a leader

The application asks for:

  • Your guild or community name, and where it lives (ESO guild, Discord, Band).
  • Your platform and server, and roughly what your group focuses on.
  • A verification screenshot showing you actually lead it: a guild roster with your rank visible, or a server member list showing your role. This is stored privately and is only ever visible to site admins.

Approval creates your guild, makes you its leader, and generates your first set of join codes to hand out. You'll get an email with a link to set your password and sign in for the first time.

Already lead a group here and want to add another? Don't submit a second application; it will fail, because the application flow always tries to create a brand-new account. Open a support ticket and choose “lead another guild or community” instead, and an admin will attach the new guild to the account you already have.

What's expected of you

Not much, honestly. Be decent to people, don't post anything you don't have the right to post, and remember that visiting someone's house is a courtesy they extended to you.

Moderation is light and mostly reactive: anyone can report a showcase, guild staff handle their own rosters, and only a site admin can ban an account outright; a guild leader can recommend it with evidence, but the decision isn't theirs to make.
